Robert Wyland (STARLITE ORIGINALS STUDIO™)
renowned Marine-life Artist, changed the way people think about our environment when he started painting life-size whales on the sides of buildings in the 1980s. He always thought big and today, the Wyland name has become synonymous with the new generation of awareness about environmental conservation. Through his unique marine life paintings, sculptures, and photography, he continues to inspire new generations about the importance of marine life conservation.
Years after becoming a successful artist, Wyland began to cast his own marine-life sculptures of whales and dolphins. Known for their true to life detail, his sculptures are considered to be among the finest depictions of marine life in the world today “The final results speak for themselves,” Wyland says, “but it all starts in the studio. My studio is where I take the images in my mind’s eye and recreate them in the medium that best reflects them. It’s a place where I can get inspired and explore my subjects.”
